The Tassenbacherhof is centrally located in the natural paradise of East Tyrol, right at the entrance to Strassen – and therefore just a stone’s throw away from South Tyrol. The farm’s close proximity to the Italian border makes it the ideal starting point for excursions to neighboring South Tyrol with its unique blend of Alpine tradition, Mediterranean lifestyle and culinary diversity.

The smallest of the four bedrooms is the so-called Knechte Kommr. Thanks to its atmospheric wood paneling, the almost 15 m² double room is particularly cosy.
Right next to the Gitschn Kommr is the Buabm Kommr. Modern, also very quiet double room (approx. 21.5 m²) with beautifully preserved stucco work on the floor above.
The daughters of the house once lived diagonally opposite the parents’ bedroom (and under their watchful eyes). Very large (approx. 21 m²) and quiet, the Gitschn Kommr, like all rooms, has soundproofed windows.
The way the rooms are arranged today is how people used to live as a family. The spacious Tate & Mame commr (approx. 20 m²) is located directly behind the kitchen. A very large and bright room with airy natural materials, where you can quickly find peace and quiet.
The large rooms and the many retreat corners leave enough space for everyone, even with 10 guests. Particularly cozy: the spacious living room with various seating and reading corners as well as a large LED TV. The various bedrooms can be accessed directly from here.
Really “kamot”: The 30 m² eat-in kitchen, equipped with high-quality appliances, invites you to cook and sit together comfortably.

Everything has been thought of: from toilet paper to washing powder, everything is available here. The only things you need to take with you on your vacation at the Tassenbacherhof are your personal belongings and the food you need.
Ideal for blowing off steam: After skiing or hiking, you can relax in your own Finnish sauna. With space for 10 people and an adjoining relaxation room made of Swiss stone pine, which has been proven to slow down and calm the heartbeat.
