East Tyrol not only attracts visitors with well-developed ski areas, but also – thanks to 266 three-thousand-meter peaks – with many almost untouched slopes for ski tourers.

Ice skating
Fancy some ice cream? How about a trip to one of East Tyrol’s natural ice rinks? Lake Tristach is certainly one of the very best addresses. Or would you prefer an artificial ice rink – like the one in Pustertalerstraße in Lienz?

Tobogganing
A tobogganing trip with parents is certainly one of the best vacation memories for children. With 35 toboggan runs, some of which are floodlit, East Tyrol is a true tobogganing paradise.
