For centuries, carriages have stopped at the Tassenbacherhof on their journey through the Alps. In 2012, the property, located at 1,100 m above sea level in the small village of Strassen, was restored in accordance with the plans of a renowned architect while preserving its special character<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The hostess Margit Aigner and her family live and work in the house. The first floor – a house within a house – has been converted into a single, 250 m\u00b2 apartment<\/strong> where families and groups of friends can enjoy a vacation with every comfort.<\/p>\n

Guests at the Tassenbacherhof like to refer to the house as a “meeting place”,<\/strong> because the convivial atmosphere<\/strong> of the former inn can still be felt today. Incidentally, word of the successful symbiosis of the historic building<\/strong> and understated luxury<\/strong> quickly spread in architectural circles – and earned the Tassenbacherhof an award<\/strong> as one of the 25 most beautiful designer hotels in Tyrol<\/strong> (Tirol Werbung).<\/p>\n

The house is fully equipped with free WiFi (fiber optic internet)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
